Ombre mandap flowers for a fusion wedding

Autumnal mandap flower tones for Heena and Rich's mandap and civil ceremony backdrop!

We were so excited when wedding planner Assumpta recommended us to Heena and Rich. This couple of Indian and English heritage were after a fusion wedding to honour their backgrounds, with both ceremonies on the same day at Froyle Park Country Estate.

For the English civil ceremony we adorned the grand fireplace with a large ombre installation, with meadow flowers to match down the aisle. These meadows were then repurposed for the Hindu ceremony, for which we built a stunning mandap covered in flowers and foliage. Heena had her outfit change whilst guests enjoyed canapes from Preeti Catering, who were kind enough to deliver some scrumptious food for us to nibble on after the changeover. Every single stem in the designs as an ultra-realistic faux flower or foliage, which surprised many guest who had thought they were real!

For the the reception we flipped the room and repurposed the mandap, creating two floral pillars as well as a canopy installation for behind the top table. As the top table had a wall of floor meadow flowers, we kept the table flowers simple by using stems jars interspersed with brass candlesticks with luxury LED wax candles.

Heena was after after an autumnal theme, on the brighter side rather than more toned down. We loved working with this brief and decided to try our first ombre flowers for the civil ceremony, and loved it so much that we continued this theme into the mandap installation.

It was truly a joy to work with both Heena and Rich, who went out of their way to make us feel so valued as part of their wedding team (including donations to a charity fundraiser and well wishes after a new baby!). We are so lucky to work with such incredible and lovely couples.
