This was a really special wedding for us. After meeting Lauren to learn about her wedding flower plans, we formed a friendship with her over our mutual love of repurposing; Lauren grew her own flowers to make her own confetti, as well as using reclaimed vases she tirelessly sourced.
For her and Oli, having silk stems was really important for them, as they too aren't keen on using fresh flowers for a single day. They both also grew some spring bulbs to add into the silk designs. For the flowers her arrangements were focussed on using seasonal stems of tulip, magnolia, rannunulcus, anemone and spray roses, in gorgeous bright shades with a pop of warm burgundy. Lauren's bouquet was soft and wild.
The showstoppers for this wedding were the home made 3m tall trellis frames, which were an incredible ceremony backdrop, and later pushed together for a photobooth backdrop.
Gen went to Lauren and Oli's cottage the day before the wedding, and enjoyed the afternoon building arrangements onto the trellis, cutting from the flower field and having a natter with the bridesmaids over a glass of wine. We wish every wedding set up was as lovely as this.
This wedding was even more special, because Lauren has now started Confetti Club Surrey after learning the ropes from Gen (over a glass of wine and a spa visit, because, that is the best way to do these things...!). So of course confetti had to be a big feature and we designed a confetti bar, and sprinkled around the cake!

The lovely review from Lauren on Google

"Gen and Ellie were absolutely lovely and worked really hard creating exactly what we wanted. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers were. They were a joy to have at the venue in the morning and the collection process the next morning was quick and easy.
