Kew Gardens is one of our favourite venues to work at, made even more special when we had the opportunity to bring P&S's wedding vision to life there. The brief - meadow flowers everywhere - which included the ceremony aisle and the ceremony backdrop! Oh, and of course a Fleur de la Couture wedding isn't complete without a showstopping flower arch!
Blue, purples, white and a hint of pink in wild meadow style was the look that we landed on. A grand wisteria tree added height into the Nash Conservatory, and so we designed a bespoke meadow flower crescent to carefully hide the base of the trees, as well as form a stunning and unique floral backdrop. A clematis and rose climbing arch enticed guests into the Conservatory, to the sound of a string quartet.
With guest numbers of around 100, the reception was held at Cambridge Cottage, the beautiful residence in the grounds of Kew Gardens that The Duke of Cambridge used to reside in. The drawing room, filled with drawings of flowers, was transformed whilst the guests had canapes as we repurposed the ceremony meadow flowers. We absolutely love being a Kew Gardens florist and can't wait to be back.
