In a historic venue with a high architectural ceiling, hanging flower chandeliers are a perfect way to fill a grand space
For Fenella, statement florals were part of her wedding identity. The Grand Hall at Battersea Arts Centre is an incredibly beautiful and large space, big enough to host music concerts, yet with all the character you would wish for in a wedding venue. To make this space more intimate for their wedding, we decided that we wanted to visually lower the raised ceiling. We identified that there were a lot off rounded shapes within the building, and so to honour this we opted to create circular chandeliers, sometimes known as floral hoops, which would hang over the banquet tables, creating an immersive whimsical feeling. With 5 chandeliers stretching up to 8ft across, it was truly spectacular. Foliage and flower pillars against the stone walls accentuated the stunning space. Tall table centrepieces added drama and texture to the tables, which were filled with glass candle holders, tealights, and stationery which was designed by the couple.
For an early December wedding, Fenella and James wanted to incorporate warm, rich jewelled colours, staying clear from any associations with upcoming wintery festivities. Plum, burgundy, wine, with a hint of apricot amongst plenty of foliage was chosen for their aesthetic, which was paired with moody production lighting for a romantic feel.

The lovely review from Fenella on Google
"Huge thank you to Genni and Ellie for the most beautiful bespoke flower arrangements for my wedding.
The time and care taken to support and advise me throughout the whole process was exceptional, and I don't think I could have done it without you. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Genni and Ellie to anyone. The whole experience was faultless and the outcome incredible. Thank you!"
